The law office “Šatovs” is specialized in dispute resolution – litigation, arbitration, mediation, concilliation, as well as in matters related to intellectual property and competition law in Latvia and in the European Union. The lawyers of the office have long lasting experience in dispute resolution in courts and state institutions. We handle cases in Latvian, English and Russian languages.

The law office “Šatovs” is led by attorney-at-law Mr. Ilmārs Šatovs. Ilmārs has worked with many international clients in various fields of business, companies, and in one of the leading Latvian law offices specialized in intellectual property law and litigation. Ilmārs is Latvian patent attorney and professional representative at the EUIPO in trade mark and design matters, appointed by the Latvian Ministry of Culture as professional concilliator in disputes related to copyright and neighbouring rights and serving as arbitrator in Riga Arbitration Court. Additionally, Ilmārs has obtained specialized LLM degree in European Intellectual Property Law in Sweden.
